Happy Employee Appreciation Day Meridians! 
This week we have highlighting our HEART values: Hope, Empathy, Accountability, Resilience, and Teamwork. These values don’t just show up for one week though. You live them everyday in how you care for the people we serve, support one another, and show up when the work is hard.
Hope is choosing to believe that what we do matters.
Empathy is taking the time to listen and understand.
Accountability is doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
Resilience is continuing forward through challenge and change.
And teamwork is knowing that none of us do this work alone.
You make a real difference in our communities and your dedication does not go unseen.
I am happy to share that Meridian will be giving all part time and full time employees one additional hour of PTO to use this fiscal year to use however you need. It is a small but meaningful way for us to say we appreciate you.
You will find a PTO certificate attached. In order to use it, fill it out and send it to your supervisor with your request in advance for the date and time you would like to use it. Supervisors, you will receive instructions on how to enter this on the timesheet.
As we close out the week, I encourage you all to recognize a fellow Meridian who showed HEART in action, because appreciation is even more powerful when shared.
