Meridian wants to take this time to acknowledge your dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence in the continued success of our organization. We are announcing a PTO Buyback special event as appreciation for your exceptional service.
We are offering you the opportunity to voluntarily buy back some of your accrued PTO hours. We understand that many of you have gone above and beyond by sacrificing your own personal time to ensure our clients’ needs are met, even when your PTO balance has reached its limit. While your generosity is admirable, we recognize the toll it can take on both your well-being and finances. Meridian’s critical mission for our communities would not be possible without you!
To receive payment for your PTO buyback, please complete and submit the attached PTO buyback request form to Manuel Peruga no later than Thursday, June 15th. The payment will be issued on Friday, June 23rd.
To be eligible for the PTO buyback, you must have been employed by Meridian for at least one year and maintain a minimum balance of 80 PTO hours in your account. The maximum buyback limit is 40 hours. For instance, if you currently have 100 hours in your PTO account, you can only buy back 20 hours, as it is necessary to retain a minimum of 80 hours in your account.
Please note that the deadline for submitting your PTO Buyback Form is June 15th, 2023. HR will not accept any PTO Buyback forms after this date.
