We’re so excited that The Amazing Give is a little over one month away!
The Amazing Give is the Community Foundation of North Central Florida’s very own Giving Day that raises money for local nonprofits by providing a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most and encourage them to take action. On April 25th from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., contributions made will benefit all of those served by Meridian.
During The Amazing Give, we’ll need support and assistance from you to make it an all-around success! We would love to have your support in assisting with one or more items below:
Community Partnerships & Outreach
· Reaching out to local businesses for partnerships: Partnerships can range from sharing Meridian’s Amazing Give page on social media, in-kind donations for day-of event, or utilizing what’s special about Meridian to promote the big day!
· Acquiring sponsors for matching gifts or incentives: Are you or someone you know interested in being a matching donor? This can really motivate others to participate and further our impact! If you’re interested in becoming a matching donor, please contact Kandra Albury.
Press & Promotion
· Getting the word out about The Amazing Give: Whether it’s distributing flyers (will be distributed company wide soon!) throughout your community or simply talking about it within your network both online and offline will result in more connections and more donations on the big day!
· Acting as Social Media Champions for your organization: With online giving, social media can play a crucial role in Meridian’s success! Be active on social media, supporting Meridian’s campaign, sharing Meridian’s Amazing Give page, and getting the word out about why Meridian’s mission is so important to you and your community. I’ve attached a social media guide above. The file includes captions and content for all social platforms to promote before, during, and even after the big day! Here are Meridian’s social handles:

· Share your board story: Each of you are serving Meridian for a reason! You care about Meridian’s mission, impact, and the community and people we serve. Having you share your story has the power to show supporters and potential donors how Meridian is rooted in the passion of those helping to further our mission!
Donor Outreach & Follow Up
· Calling bank: Help our Advancement Team spread the word before, during, and after The Amazing Give! Please let me know if you’re available to be a phone call volunteer during the campaign.

· Amazing Give Commitments to Donate: Incorporate the pledge badge/email signature onto your social platforms/email to let your network know before the day that you’ll proudly be supporting Meridian! This is a great way to let others know that you will be supporting Meridian before The Amazing Give and will have a greater impact on the big day!
Peer-to-Peer Fundraisers
· Create your P2P Fundraising page: You can create your own personal fundraising page to share out with your network to support Meridian during The Amazing Give! Sharing your personal stories of why you support Meridian is a great way to inspire additional donors!
